Two dead in crash on Kpetoe-Sarakope road
Two people have died following a road traffic accident involving a Hyundai H100 bus and a Ford tractor along the Kpetoe Sarakope stretch of the Accra, Aflao Highway.
Two people have died following a road traffic accident involving a Hyundai H100 bus and a Ford tractor along the Kpetoe Sarakope stretch of the Accra, Aflao Highway.
The accident occurred on Saturday, September 26, prompting a response from firefighters at the Kpetoe Fire Station.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the Hyundai H100 bus was carrying 12 passengers, while the Ford tractor had two occupants on board.
Both vehicles were travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao when the accident occurred.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene successfully rescued all 14 occupants from the vehicles.
The rescued persons were subsequently handed over to personnel from the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service for further assistance and conveyance to the Ho Teaching Hospital.
However, two of the accident victims, a male and a female, were later confirmed dead at the hospital.
